Glen Johnson knocked out Jones in the ninth round in what likely repesents the end of the Jones' reign among the elite fighters in the sport.

Jones lay almost motionless on his back for almost four minutes after he was knocked down by a hard right to the head and the back of his head bounced hard off the canvas.

Jones finally walked out of the ring with help from his trainers.

Any hopes of quickly putting his KO loss to Antonio Tarver behind him was wiped away as Johnson outworked Jones throughout the bout and finally stopped him.
